It’s A Boy!
We are pleased to announce the birth of our first child... Collin James Masie. Born on June 3rd, Collin weighed in at 5 pounds 3 ounces and was 17” in length.
It was a crazy 24 hours leading up to his birth.
We went from Colleen’s water breaking 4 weeks early, an overnight stay in the hospital (with no contractions), inducing in morning, another 12 hours of labor and finally deciding a natural birth was not going to happen. Collin was born via C section around 9:16pm… almost 24 hours from when Colleen’s water broke.
The funny part we were scheduled (that week) to attend a tour of the birthing center on Thursday followed by an all-day birthing class on Saturday. I guess Collin could not wait any longer.
Mom and baby came home a week later and are doing fine. We are very excited and look forward to spending time with the newest addition to our family.
We would like to thank everybody for their continued support. Collin is going to live a very rich life... thanks to great family and friends.

More Babies Are On The Way!
It must be something in the water… both our sisters found out recently they are pregnant! Mickey and Russ are expecting a baby boy. Ryan is due early January. Erica and Jeff are expecting in early February. They have a few names picked out and want to be surprised.
This is the first child for both couples and we are very happy and excited for them. Collin can't wait to meet his new cousins!
